Privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Sprint Ready Ltd ("we", "us") uses personal data in connection with the ClaimEvidence website at claimevidence.co.uk and the ClaimEvidence service. Sprint Ready Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17375471, with its registered office at Broughcliff, Shrewsbury, SY4 3LD. ClaimEvidence is a trading name of Sprint Ready Ltd.
We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For questions about this policy or your data, email support@claimevidence.co.uk.
2. Two different roles
Where we are the controller. For data about our own website visitors, prospective customers and customer contacts (for example, the adviser who requests a back-test), we decide how the data is used. This policy covers that data.
Where we are a processor. Records an adviser sends us about their client, such as ticket histories and design documents, may contain personal data about the client's staff, such as names and comments. We process that data only on the adviser's or client's instructions, under a data processing agreement. The adviser firm or its client is the controller and is responsible for telling those individuals how their data is used. See our Trust & data page.
3. What we collect
- Contact and identity data: your name, job title, firm and email address when you contact us or request a back-test.
- Correspondence: the content of emails and call notes.
- Account data: if you use the ClaimEvidence platform, login details and records of activity in your account.
- Technical data: our website host keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
- Cookie choices: the consent choices you make in our cookie banner, stored in your browser.
We don't collect special category data through this website and ask you not to send it to us.
4. How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries and run back-tests: steps you ask us to take before a contract, or legitimate interests in answering business enquiries.
- To provide the service you've signed up for: performance of a contract.
- To keep the website and service secure: legitimate interests.
- To keep business and financial records: legal obligation.
- Optional analytics or marketing cookies, if we ever use them: your consent.
- To send you occasional product updates: legitimate interests in contacting business customers about similar services, or consent where the law requires it. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message.
5. Who we share it with
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts our platform and AI processing in the EU (Stockholm) region.
- Hostinger, which hosts this website.
- Our email and payment providers, where you correspond with us or pay us.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountants and lawyers, where needed.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it, or any client records, to train AI models.
6. Where it's stored
Our platform data is stored and processed in the EU, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. If a supplier processes personal data outside the UK or EU, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiry and back-test correspondence: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Customer account and contract records: for the life of the account, then up to 6 years for legal and accounting purposes.
- Back-test source material: deleted within 30 days of delivering the report, unless you ask us to keep it.
- Server logs: kept by our website host according to its standard retention.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email support@claimevidence.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we only use cookies or similar storage that aren't strictly necessary if you agree. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all non-essential, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, nothing optional is set before you choose, and you can change your mind at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page.
What we use
- Strictly necessary. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the name
ce_consent_v1, so we don't ask again on every page. It holds only your choices and the date you made them, and stays until you clear it. Our hosting provider may also set a strictly necessary security cookie to deliver pages and protect against abuse. These don't need consent and can't be switched off without breaking the site. - Analytics. Off by default. We don't currently run any analytics. If we add a tool, it will only load if you've opted in, and we'll name it here first.
- Marketing. Off by default. We don't currently run any marketing or advertising cookies. The same rule applies.
Fonts and third parties
Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page doesn't send your IP address to Google or any other font service. This site doesn't embed third-party trackers, social media widgets or advertising.
Your choices
You can withdraw or change consent at any time through "Cookie settings". You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings, though that will mean we ask for your choice again.
10. Changes
We'll update this policy when our practices change, and show the date at the top.
